Curb Overwhelm
Monday, 1st March 2010
What to do to curb the overwhelming wave:
- Delete all the unnecessary.
- Delegate. I’m talking to the control freaks here. If someone else can do it, let them. No kid I’ve ever known has died from doing dishes, laundry, or making dinner.
- Go on an information diet. Only read books and emails with information you absolutely need for your next step in goals. Cut and unsubscribe to all else.
- Delete everything that’s not top priority. I know this is repeating number one, but it’s important. Go back through the list—which projects can survive on hold for the next week, month, or six months, or can be deleted all together?
