It’s an easy thing to do. It takes time, effort, and genuine concern to look further than what is presented on the surface. These attributes of non-judgment are great, and most of us want to practice them regularly, but in the hundred mile an hour pace that society is traveling, it takes conscious effort and dedication to not take the shortcuts.

One thing I know for sure, those of us who take the time to look beyond the surface, addressing those deeper concerns, are going to be the people who succeed the most in business.
Taking this time and really addressing core concerns will show up with huge benefits in your marketing, enrollment, and client satisfaction.
Business is about connection, and connection is about understanding. Understanding can only be achieved by making the effort to stop looking at the surface and rushing to conclusions. Instead, take the time to look, listen, and clarify. When a person is really understood they feel validated. Do we take the time to honor our clients and potential clients? If not, what wrong thoughts and interpretations are we going to make and how far off-course are we going to go?
